Followed by that is a sports day event which, you guessed it right, turns into a free-for-all fighting pit. And to be honest, I'm more interested in her finding one love interest rather than just having a lot of suitors. This manga has it all! But the new school Hinako attends in his stead is beyond unusual. The brother in that one was a bit of a jerk but also had good qualities he showed often, and the plot was balanced. I can't wait to see what happens next!. But the new school Hinako attends in his stead is beyond unusual. Hinako thought she didn't have any family, but on the day she starts high school, her twin brother Hikaru suddenly appears and tricks her into taking his place. I felt like I had read it before too many times and it was failing to hold my interest as a result. Flag comments violating this rule and we will deal with them accordingly.
I did like that senior Mirako - who straight up is a pansexual icon. Speaking of Hiraku, I wish it would come out and be upfront that the character is a trans girl, instead of just pushing it into 'just a boy who loves to cross-dress' thing we see too often. Ever since, the rumors about her fighting skills have kept her from having any friends. Sure, there is a boy harem developing, but it seems very generic in terms of characters. Cute and sweet with a nice mix of violence and a kick-butt main character, this manga is everything I could've hoped for! The plot of this one can loosely be explained as 'She's the Man' in a high school for delinquents setting.
For Hinako, though, it is good for her to find at least the lovable part of her family. Hinako, being a fighter herself, is apt for the role, but keeping her secret while also trying to rise to the top of the school in fighting, not studying is going to prove a challenge. We are not Meme Central nor do we want to be. Beautiful boy rebels using their fists to fall in love! Kind of open-ended, but an enjoyable quick read! It feels at this point that there is no clear front runner for Hinako's affection though obviously it should have been Kira. She switches places with her twin brother and he attends her all girls school while she attends his all boys school for delinquents. Now she must fight her way to the top of Shishiku Academy, an all-boys school of delinquents! We know that the twin brother knew that he had a sister, but what about the other brother? She grew up in an orphanage, constantly harassed by bullies until she learned to fight back, only to get a reputation as a violent tomboy. Until this part it is mostly playing on old cliches, but the last chapter is where it gets a little interesting when Totomaru's father tries to get him to transfer out and all of them, in a surge of friendly spirit, stop that from happening.
If you've followed my reviews at all you know I love me a good woman disguised as a man story, and this one is great! Hinako thought she didn't have any family, but on the day she starts high school, her twin brother Hikaru suddenly appears and tricks her into taking his place. I was thinking Kira was going to be the main love interest, but honestly that is fizzling out. Honestly, this is more of a romantic comedy title than anything. If you've followed my reviews at all you know I love me a good woman disguised as a man story, and this one is great! The 'She's the Man' shtick worked for volume 1, but now it is just playing around with shoujo manga cliches instead of going forward with a plot. I would be more interested if it would have some background to why Hinako was abandoned even if it is a comedy manga and what Hiraku's family is like. For Hinako, though, it is good for her to find at least the lovable part of her family. Hinako, who has always known herself to be an orphan, is on her way to the first day of high school, when her twin brother Hiraku pops out of nowhere, makes her go in his place to his boys-only high school, Shishiku, which is famous for having kids of mob bosses. Can Hinako save her brother, find romance, and become the new boss of the school? Hinako has a busy life! I love how strong Hinako is, and how loyal and determined to protect those weaker than her she is. This, of course, begs the question of why Hiraku hates his family and wants to keep Hinako away from it also how much of a secret can it be? But an interesting wrinkle appears when she finds she also has an older brother - and he's the big head honcho of the school to boot! Fights break out every day, but there are also lots of heart-palpitating events with the boys that she never expected! I guess this would probably be more enjoyable if I'd played the game it was based on. Beautiful boy rebels using their fists to fall in love! Also I believe I really liked the black-haired guy.
I love the sort of reverse harem feel if this manga. In all, not much to interest me further after two volumes. I should probably reread this before writing a review. Read the manga to find out. Then we get a mandatory 'we're going to the beach' chapter with the expected hijinks, and the fact that Hinako can't very well strip like the guys. Another excellent installment to a fantastic series! I also want to see how her friends would react if they found out she was a girl. Story: Hinako continues to masquerade as her twin brother, taking on fights and moving her way up the 'fight ladder' to become big boss.
I love the sort of reverse harem feel if this manga. At Shishiku, Hinako promptly starts busting faces and making friends. Her growing relationship with her twins is al Another excellent installment to a fantastic series! In order to inherit leadership of the clan, he must attend Shishiku. Besides the comedy situations, this story doesn't have much to offer, in my opinion. In this volume, the main character begins to develop a stronger bond with her siblings as well as her friends and classmates. No hentai is allowed in any case.
So this is a true harem manga where all the guys continually rain affection, drama, and blushes over Hinako, all the while wondering at their own reasoning for liking another 'guy'. I want to be her bestest best friend. I'll continue reading this series. A little challenge comes to Hinako when a rival classmate makes her cheer in a girl's cheerleading uniform along with Konparu leading to more nosebleeds on Totomaru's part. To view it, I'm glad we got some more back story on some of the characters. I think they wouldn't think too differently of her, but I'm not sure because people can change.
I liked the big brother character best, although if I were playing it as a dating sim, I might go for the best friend instead! Will her friends find out that shes secretly a girl?! I don't understand why she was left in an orphanage while her other siblings were not. Now she must fight her way to the top of Shishiku Academy, an all-boys school of delinquents! So when he found out Hinako was alive, he came up with the switch idea. Mostly for fans of the visual novel, but should also appeal to fans of girls disguised as boys and kicking butt. In exchange, he attends the all-girl school disguised as Hinako, which he apparently enjoys. As for the direction of this manga, I feel like it is settling more into a slice of life than doing anything with the plot.
